VALERIAN ROOT COMPARED TO OTHER HERBAL REMEDY
Valerian root, lavender, passion flower and lemon balm are just few of the many choices of natural sleep aids that can help people to fight against sleeping disorders like insomnia. But among this herbal remedies, valerian root is controversial because it has been found to be somewhat addictive. People tend to use it as a long-term treatment and they become dependent to it. But it is still considered as potential medication for most people.
A safer option may be the natural solution of warm milk. Yes it is not aromatic or a herbal remedy but warm milk has amino acid called tryptophan that can induce sleep. But the most important sleep aid is to establish a healthy schedule. Please be noted that a good uninterrupted sleep at night can assure to have a healthy long productive day either at work or at home.
